Well, I am still trying this photography thing....here are some pics from today (they are only of Owen, because he is the only one home during the day!!)

Boys Night Out....

There have been many, many commercials coming on for the Monster Truck show at the Roanoke Civic Center this weekend. Every time one came on, Aiden and Owen would ask if they could go. I was really concerned about the noise and crowd, but decided we would never know if they would enjoy it if we didn't take them once. As you can see from Aiden's face, he loved it!
The boys all agreed that the "grave digger" was their favorite. I'm guessing because each one of them LOVE the color green.....
Evidently, from where they were sitting, it appeared the trucks were going to come right at them!! They soon realized there was nothing to be afraid of, and a good time was had by all! (Walker took the picture, which is why he isn't in the picture!)

my first picures.....

SO.....I signed up to take an "Intro. to digital photography" class this semester, you know, to have an easy/fun class...... and, well, it's not easy at all, which makes it, not fun!!!! The first 5 minutes of class I found out you need a digital SLR camera, not a cute silver point-and-shoot camera. Did I mention this cameras are, at minimum, $500?!??!? Thanks to a lovely lady in my class, I can continue on, and she is graciously sharing her camera with me!!! We went out Friday to shoot our first assignment, it didn't turn out so well.......it was 32 degrees, and the pictures just kept getting whiter and whiter and whiter..... I went home and called Teena, Becky went to the Ritz camera store and we found out what we did wrong, and we went back later in the afternoon (it was still windy, but it was warmer) and I got some darker shots! they still aren't quite right, so now I have to redo these, and the "motion" pics that are due by our next class!! so much for fun........
