BiRtHdAy!!!!!!

Today, Aiden turned nine years old.  For his birthday, he got an Ipod touch, and a case with paw prints on it.  He is super excited, and is having a great time with all the apps!!!

Walker bought him a cartoon figure he loves, and was crazy hard to find!

I think Owen was as excited as Aiden!  (He now wants one for his birthday!)

For fun, Maddie and Owen blew up tons of balloons, shut his bedroom door and taped them in with wrapping paper.  He loved having the balloons fall on him as he opened the door, but it quickly turned to panic when he thought the paper was wood and he was trapped in his room.....not a fun way to wake up at 6am!

A trip down Memory Lane

Twenty years ago today I married my high school sweetheart.  I had thought he was cute, so I casually mentioned that to his friend Derek.....the rest is history.  We have had the best time, and have been blessed with the greatest kids.  I love them all with all my heart!

They went to Charlotte's Web on Main Street.

They got half price drinks and tater tots at Sonic.

They went to Grand--just for a coke!

At 1:23, they kissed their knee......

They hugged the Chic fil e cow at Tanglewood.

Maddie has been promising the boys all summer that when she could drive by herself, she would take them all out......looks like they had fun!!

She is finally legal to drive all by herself.  Her first trip out:  to the mall with Petey and Walker. 

One last trip.....

Since the kids start school in  a few weeks, I thought it would be nice to take them to visit Kari (and, ahem--the beach) one more time.......

We stayed until it was crazy dark....but still pretty!
