Happy Birthday Monkey!!!!

 

It started with "chunky monkey". This was Aiden's nickname, and he has loved monkeys ever since. Well, today that sweet monkey turned 7. Yes, I said seven. In one short year, he will be old enough to be baptized!! Yikes!!! He chose yellow cake with chocolate icing, and got the disgusting-looking "abomination" figure he wanted, along with the all important Hulk Wii game and 2 Droopy dvd's. He, Walker and Owen were laughing the whole time they were watching the Droppy episodes, and Tim could tell what episode it was based on the little bits he heard while driving!!!! I found it amusing that it came with a disclaimer that it may not be suitable for children (I don't think it did any harm to me watching it many years ago.....)

So last week we went too late, and the pictures were too dark......this time it was too sunny!!! Oh well, hopefully the more I take, the better they will get.......

Carla Lynn Havens Wade

 

On August 28, 1992, I became Carla Havens Wade. I have now been Carla Havens Wade for the same amount of time I was Carla Lynn Havens. It has been a wonderful 18 years, and we have 4 absolutely awesome children together. While I don't enjoy being in pictures, I felt this one was justified. And, since Maddie is becoming such a great photographer, I got her to snap a few pictures of just me and Tim. Here's to many, many, many more years of happiness!!!!!!
