There's a robot in my house....or is it three??

Walker had a robot project for his science class. It had to be made from recycled materials. He went right to work on it, and it turned out pretty nice! Actually, it startles me every time I walk into the dining room.
Aiden is reading a story this week about robots, and everyone is supposed to bring one in. His, of course, had to be his favorite color, green.

Owen had to have one....just because!!!

A boy and his trampoline

Aiden was not happy with all the "prickly balls" that had fallen onto the trampoline!
For some reason, he prefers the nets be down.
Today was the first time in months it has been warm enough for Aiden to go outside and jump on the trampoline. The first thing he said when he got off the bus was "Can I jump on the BIG trampoline?". He is having a blast!

No U-turns.....

Yesterday, Owen and I went to West Salem for Aiden's Valentine's Day party.  When it was time to leave, I backed out of the parking spot, drove a little bit forward, and made a u-turn.  It was at this moment Owen stated "Mom!! We are learning about signs in preschool!  That sign means 'no turn around'"  Curious, I asked it what it meant to "turn around".  His response??  "You know, like YOU just did!"

I have been schooled by a five year old!!!!
When we went back to pick Aiden up later, I took a picture of it so I could remember this moment!

Third time's a charm????

This is how you play human foosball....in case you were wondering....
I've always thought I was pretty lucky, as far as kids and trips to the Emergency Room goes.....Four kids, 14 years, and only two trips....until the last 4 months, when we added three more trips.  The first time ever was when Aiden had a seizure in the middle of the night.  Not fun.  The second was in North Carolina, when Walker had a hernia, which resulted in surgery a week later.  Then, in the last four months, there was Aiden busting his chin running up the stairs, Maddie having a bruised knee from playing human Foosball at church, and finally last night, Aiden back for a sore throat and earache that had him in tears, which is, for him, a very rare occurrence.  Hopefully we can make it the next 14 years with a small number of trips! Yikes!!!
