First Class

 

Walker received his first class scout rank tonight!! We are so proud of him, and love him very much! Here he is deciding that he'll draw blood if he tried to put the mother pin on me, so I put it on myself!!!

Owen's Easter Party

 

 

 

Today was Owen's preschool Easter party. After eating with friends, they went outside for an egg hunt. We then met two friends at the park to play for a bit. It was a great way to spend this beautiful day!

Meet Eggbert

 

Why is this cute penguin named Eggbert?? Because there is a raw egg surrounded by a fluffy snowball inside him. If the egg makes the drop from the roof of the Andrew Lewis Middle school, Maddie gets an A. if the egg doesn't make it, well.....she flunks that experiment!!!!!***update***Eggbert made it from the roof with only a small crack, which earned Maddie a "B"!!!!

Even though Ruby is gone, they left a tribute in her memory......

We're going to the zoo today......

 

 

 

 

We decided to take advantage of the beautiful weather and take the kids to Mill Mountain for a pic-nic and then to the zoo. Even though it's pretty small, they had fun looking at all the animals. We bought a family membership, so we can go every day for the rest of the year for free!!! And better yet, we can use it at lots of other zoos as well.

....okay, so it was more like an hour at the park, but the kids had a wonderful time playing together. We are really lucky to live close enough to be able to walk to this park.

As most everyone knows, Aiden's favorite color is green. That being said, he LOVED St. Patricks day, since he got to wear all green. They had a walk-a-thon at school, and he got to wear the cute leprechaun hat. He didn't win for "most green", but he still had a great day.

So, it was a beautiful day, and we were killing time waiting on Maddie and Walker, so Aiden, Owen and I went to feed the ducks. They get a little greedy once you start feeding them, and started following us around!!
