Salem Homecoming 2010
Tonight was Salem's homecoming. Maddie and a bunch of friends went to Ichiban to eat dinner, the dance, McDonald's and bowling! (yes, they bowled in their homecoming dresses....I hear the socks just made the outfits!!)

The Circus came to town......
and sheep dogs........
3 cute boys (Aiden was on the other side of me....)
and elephants......
Actually, there were lots more, but I haven't quite mastered taking action shots, so they are blurry. Not to mention the other acts had scantily clad women, so I chose not to photograph them! (Noone needs that memory!!!!!) I won the tickets on the radio last week, noone even knew the circus was in town! Evidently, this is the show that was snowed out in January. It might has well been snowed out tonight, because the place was e.m.p.t.y.!!!!!!!

The Pumpkin Patch
Aiden loved reading the map through the corn maze.
Here he is picking out his pumpkin from the special "kids patch" at Sinkland Farms.
They even got to do a "hay jump". Whoohoo!!!

Full of........

.......poop.
Yep, I said it. Poop. Aiden has had issues with it for a few years now. His back has been hurting for a few weeks now, so I took him to the doctor, who wanted to do x-rays. Evidently, a child's back is not supposed to hurt, unless there has been a specific injury to it. (unless it's cancer or a tumor---thank goodness that is not the case here!) He thought it was soooo cool that there was a camera that could take a picture of his bones through his skin. The x-ray technician thought it was sweet, so she printed one out for him to take home. He now wants to hang it on his wall.........
(gross- I know....but keep in mind, I use this as my journal....gotta remember the good with the bad.....)
:-)
