Owen finally had his first game, it should have been Monday, but was rained out.

Soccer Season

Well, we have entered yet another soccer season.  Aiden loves the game, and I love that the games are only 45 minutes long!

The Eagle Project is complete!

Finally, after purchasing another concrete block and waiting for the rain to go away, Walker was able to complete his project.  It looks pretty nice.

3 R's

Last night was the kindergarten program on recycling (Reduce/Reuse/Recycle).  They were all cute!

Chip Trip

Saturday we drove up past Harrisonburg to check out a potato chip line Tim may start selling.  It was a really neat place.  We got a personal tour of the chip factory (they don't allow pictures in there) and then went to eat at Denny's while they talked business.  The owner's were super nice people.  They have some pretty awesome flavored chips (dill pickle, sweet potato, chesepeake crab and  habanero - to name a few).  We loaded up the car with quite a few cases to start selling here in Salem and in Christiansburg.  Afterwards, we did a little shopping and headed home.  Maddie had decided she had been in the car long enough this week, so she hung around the house.....

Amazingly, Rt 11 is the road (Main Street/460) that runs right in front of our house.  I never knew it had another name!

Gatlinburg

I got up Thursday morning and decided we needed to go somewhere, anywhere.....so I checked online, and found the best deals in Gatlinburg.  Maddie drove the entire way there, and half the way back!  We shopped, went to the Aquarium and rode go-carts.

Finally!  They made it in.  It wasn't crowded, there were some girls in there that didn't care people were waiting....

Walker's Eagle Project

Today was Walker's Eagle Scout project.  He decided to install a bike rack at Salem High School, since they do not currently have one.  I think we picked the coldest, windiest day this week!  The majority of it is done, we just need to get the concrete pads installed once the concrete holding the bike rack has set.  Hopefully, it will be warmer then.....

While it appears all they did was stand around, they actually did get some work done! 

Egg Hunt

Tonight was our egg hunt at Grandma "Brownie's" house.  She has a huge yard, and lots of cousins to run with.  We finished up with cookies and cupcakes, it doesn't get any better than this.....
