First Day at the Pool

As is the tradition, Memorial day is the day the pool opens (and Labor day is when it closes).  After running the 6am flag route with Tim and Walker, I got the kids ready and we headed to the pool.  The water wasn't terribly cold (and it usually is, since it is fed by a natural spring!).  We had a good time just hanging out. 

Preschool Graduation

Today was Owen's preschool graduation.....

Owen was very interested in what his diploma said.....

he then asked me if he looked like he was going to jail. (you know, a mug shot where they hold up the board with their name on it!!) crazy kid!
The best part was when they were singing a song, and it slowed down. He then announced to everyone "I hate this part"! He was happy when the pace picked back up!

Maddie caught Aiden reading a story to Owen while he was taking a bath one evening....so sweet!!!

WonderWorks

also known as "the upside down building". We have always wanted to see what was inside, and now we know! It's like a way cool science museum. We had a great time.

 I can't remember if Maddie is skateboarding or snowboarding, either way she said it was harder than it looked.  We also did a 'design your own virtual roller coaster'.  Walker designed ours, it had a little more corkscrews than I would have preferred, but it was fun!

Picture Day

During our trip, we had new family pictures made, and by family, I mean all 24 (10 adults and 14 kids) of us! Since the kids were all coordinated, I made each of them pose for me for a few shots after the photographer left!

 Since we had already taken quite a few pictures, they were a little "posed" out!!

MagiQuest

Since the boys love Harry Potter, they thought Magiquest would be an awesome adventure.  It was great for the kids....a little boring for adults.  They had fun, so that's all that matters.

The Go Cart Track

As is the custom, when we go to Gatlinburg, we hit the go car tracks. Since their were children in the carts, it didn't get to rough, thankfully!!
