While we were getting ready for bed tonight, Aiden said that he wants to be a cop when he grows up. He's been saying that for a while, and I was never sure why....this evening he enlightened me as to the reason for this career decision....."because they get to eat lots of doughnuts"!!!! gotta love him!!! Owen wants to be a worker, because he wants to build things!

We enjoyed a picnic w/ the family today, the only thing better would have been if "the girls" (plus Andy and Whitney-of course) could have been here!!!!

Soccer time

 

 

 

 

Today was Aiden's second attempt at playing soccer. He tried a few years ago, and sat on my lap the whole time. That was not the case this time!!! He had an awesome first "game"!!! One little girl stuck right by his side, and, come to find out, she is in his kindergarten class. They had a wonderful time, it was great to watch!

And then there were none.....

 

 

So.....Owen started preschool today. He was sooo excited, he's been waiting all summer to go back. He was sad they don't get to bring their backpacks this week, but next week everything will be on schedule.

The Middle Schoolers

 

 

Today is Walker's first day of middle school, and Maddie's first day as an eighth grader (the 8th graders are the cool kids.....) I was doing good to get one shot of each of them!!

Aiden's First Day

 

 

 

Today was Aiden's first day of kindergarten. We waited patiently on the bus this morning (there must have been lots of parents taking pictures this morning!) and off he went. I can't wait until he comes home to tell me how his day went!!!
