Natural Bridge

 Here are the boys getting ready to head down 137 steps to the entrance.

 They really enjoyed looking at a real fire inside an Indian hut.

 Aiden posed, and said "Hey mom! Take a picture of me", so I did.

 Walker climbed a rock, looked neat to me, so I took a picture!

Tim put Owen on the rock, I snapped the picture and he got Owen right back down!

Today Tim and I took the boys to Natural Bridge (Maddie is in D.C. with Zoe). It was a lot of walking, but the scenery was pretty. We went to the wax museum and toy museum, but were too tired to wait for the next tour through the caverns.

Sounds like a weird post, right??? We were cleaning out the attic, and I found some of my old license plates.....it started with ILUVTIM. Dad had to drive my car one time, and was not happy with those plates. I then changed them to our initials, CLH TLW. Then, at work one day,(many, many, many years ago) I was trying to think of a cute plate.... since I always say "See you later", or some variation, I thought it would be fun to use the "wade" from our last name and make it CUWADER (see-you-wader.) All the variations were taken "cyal8er" etc., so this is what I got. Tim hates them, he think it looks like "cow-otter" (like that makes any sense!) The autism plates are on the other van, just because..... :-)

Dear Mr. Raccoon,

Please do not run out in front of my van at 6:00 in the morning, and then stop and stare....tomorrow I may not be so alert......

And then there were none......

 

 

 

 

First day of school = one in high school, one in middle school, one in elementary school and one in preschool. WOW. The "car rider" line at the high school was long, but quick moving. Aiden's bus came at 7:25, I ran Maddie up to the high school, Walker's bus came at 8:05 and I'm dropping Owen off at preschool at 9:00. Whew...makes me tired just thinking about it! Seminary starts tomorrow, which will throw 2 more trips into the mix, one at 6:20 and one at 7:10. Thankfully there is a church family we are carpooling with!!!
