Sitting on the dock.....

 

 

 

 

okay, so maybe it wasn't a bay, but it was a nice cove off of the lake. We went there with Joe, Jaimy, and their three kids today, to hang out and let the kids swim from their dock. As you can see, they had a great time! Owen isn't much for swimming, so he sat there with his legs in the water.

Owen didn't actually "graduate" today, since he missed the kindergarten cutoff date by 2 measly weeks, but he got to participate the program all the same! They were all so adorable!!!

Maddie's 14!!!!

 

 

 

 

We crossed into the teen years last year, but this fall we are heading into High School....YIKES!!! Maddie doesn't like a lot of attention, so there are no pictures of eating cake, etc., but she and Zoe took some really cute pictures in the rain today, so I am using them instead!!!!

Aiden's soccer team

As soccer season comes to an end (only 2 games left!), today was team picture day. Here they are!

8th Grade Dance

Guess who had a dance tonight?? My very own Maddie. She and her girlfriends went to eat at Mac and Bobs before the dance, and now they are off to bed, since they have to be at school at 6am to go to Busch Gardens!!!!

Mother's Day Dinner

As is the tradition, we headed to mom's for dinner....it was great as usual! The kids had a great time playing outside, and mom got some sweet pics of everyone hanging out.

Early Mother's Day cards

Aiden and Owen brought home their mother's day cards today....they were so cute!!!!
In case you can't read Aiden's, it says:
How old is your mother? "Is she 15?"
What is her favorite thing to do? "just hug me"
What is her favorite food? "she always eats hot chicken" ( I LOVE buffalo chicken!)
What is her favorite color? "two things, pink and purple"
Whats does your mom like to wear? "new dresses"
What does she do when you're at school? "sometimes she goes and picks up lunch for Owen, and sometimes she just waits for me"
What makes your mom happy? "when I go to bed"
(he stays up way too late!!)
Owen's book is filled with pictures he has done throughout the year, and his measurements on the first day of school and now (he gained a pound and grew two inches)

Everyone was well and we had a great time on our second day at Universal Studios! The boys got to meet all the characters they love and ride a bunch of cool rides.
